The Uber Business Development (“BD”) team strengthens Uber's position as the leading mobility and delivery platform through thoughtful, creative and impactful partnerships.

Uber is looking for a Business Development Sr. Associate to join our team in Iberia. This person will be deeply interested in building long-term successful commercial partnerships across Mobility and Delivery with high profile companies across this country and thrive in a fast-paced technology company.

Successful candidates will bring a dynamic combination of IQ and EQ, an ability to think strategically and execute tactically, and strong interpersonal skills to maximize value in partnership negotiations. Someone who brings hustle in spades and is not afraid to manage multiple deals in a high-pressure, high-stakes environment. Essentially, a business developer with ambition and drive, capable of defining and implementing the functional strategy, and building partnerships to support a variety of high-priority Uber initiatives.

About the job

  • Collaborate with regional leaders to define and execute partnership strategies that drive Uber’s business priorities.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new strategic business opportunities across multiple geographies.
  • Lead end-to-end deal processes, including partner engagement, commercial constructs, contract negotiation, internal alignment, and implementation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives of current and prospective partners.
  • Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams: Operations, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Policy - to ensure deal success.
  • Manage multiple high-impact projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

About You

  • Native level Spanish and fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • 6+ years of experience in business development, consulting, investment banking, PE/VC, or a tech-driven role; experience in Mobility or Delivery is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business, financial, and analytical acumen
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in ambiguity under tight deadlines.
  • Proven track record of cultivating and managing strategic partnerships with senior executives.
