Senior Strategy and Operations Manager
The Uber AI Solutions team is looking for a Senior Strategy and Operations Manager to join our US&C Supply Operations team. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of Uber AI Solutions and expanding our network and footprint on the ground in University Ambassador events, and community outreach projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing processes, projects, communications, and experiments, all driven by a deep analytical understanding of our business.
This role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders across various territories and lines of business.
Determine how Uber AI Solutions attracts, acquires, and develops skilled gig workers at scale through technology, automation, and process optimization. This is an exciting opportunity to help build the new line of business at Uber.
Basic Qualifications
1. 5+ years of experience in operations, strategy, consulting, analytics
2. Experience and industry background from data annotation, data labelling, recruitment or sourcing
3. Strong analytical skills with demonstrated proficiency in SQL, G suite tools, and Uber internal tools like Bloc, Flow, automations and the ability to generate insights from data to drive decision-making
4. Bachelor's degree

1. Motivated self-starter that can work independently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
2. Excellent analytical and structured thinker - you connect the dots between data, can understand the big picture and gut check every number you see. You are organized, structured and able to work well in a fast-paced environment with an ability to manage time effectively.
3. High standards and a bias toward action. You find context and information you need through relationships across the organization, you push for clarity and delivery, and you hold a high bar from your contributions and those of the people you work with
4. Grit and perseverance. You're passionate about a challenge and push yourself to persevere while staying organized and on top of various tasks that come your way
6. SQL & Excel / data management skills
7. An interest in and passion for Uber , AI and AI Solutions.
8. Some basic knowledge or interest in AI, Machine Learning Models or SaaS technologies
9. Prior experience with community building, leading and organizing events in US Universities, clubs, associations or other relevant work experience for prospecting and building an engaged pipeline and network
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$118,000 per year - USD$131,000 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$131,000 per year - USD$145,500 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$131,000 per year - USD$145,500 per year.
For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$131,000 per year - USD$145,500 per year.
For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
