Senior Analyst, Finance Transformation
About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Analyst to lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that streamline operations and support finance-critical programs. This role sits on the FinanceTransformation team, a specialized group within the broader Finance organization dedicated to initiatives that align systems, processes, and decision-making across teams to drive operational clarity and support Uber’s long-term growth.
You’ll lead programs that cut across Finance, Product, Engineering, Sales, Legal, and Operations—working at the intersection of strategy, systems, and execution. - Lead the end-to-end delivery of transformation programs that improve how Uber operates across teams, systems, and workflows
- Scope and structure complex initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders across Finance, Product, Engineering, Sales, Legal, and Operations
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve data quality, and strengthen cross-functional decision-making by leveraging automation and GenAI
- Support finance-specific goals by identifying upstream root causes of downstream financial issues and improving FP&A-related processes.
- Define and track program KPIs, success metrics, and value capture to ensure outcomes are measurable and aligned to enterprise strategy
- Drive clarity on goals, timelines, and ownership across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups
- Communicate program status, risks, and results clearly across working teams and executive leadership
- Support change management efforts to ensure long-term adoption and sustained impact
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years in FP&A or strategic finance, management consulting, or strategic operations
- Bachelors Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting or Engineering preferred
- CPA or MBA
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to build a business case, prioritize workstreams, and measure the success of transformation efforts
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving systems, processes, and multiple stakeholder groups
- Familiarity with finance-adjacent processes (e.g., revenue, billing, compliance, forecasting)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across technical and business teams
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Background in B2B, SaaS, marketplaces, or high-growth tech businesses
