As an Application Developer II in our Hyderabad tech hub, you will be a vital part of our global Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) team. This is a highly collaborative, user-facing role where you will act as a technical partner to our Finance organization. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into high-performing technical solutions within Oracle EPBCS, ensuring our planning and forecasting systems are scalable and user-friendly.

- Requirements Gathering & Translation: Work closely with Finance stakeholders to understand their planning challenges; translate these business needs into detailed technical specifications for the engineering team.
- Develop and Configure: Build, test, and maintain business rules, web forms, and dimensions within Oracle EPBCS to support global budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- The "Technical Bridge": Serve as a liaison between Finance end-users and our core Data/Infrastructure teams to ensure EPM tools are integrated with Uber's broader financial data ecosystem.
- EPM Maintenance: Support the day-to-day health of the EPM environment, including metadata management and optimizing the performance of ASO and BSO cubes.
- Data Pipelines: Manage and troubleshoot data integrations between Oracle Cloud and internal data sources using Data Management and EPM Automate.
- UAT & Training: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions and help create training documentation to empower Finance users on the platform.
---- Basic Qualifications ----
- 6+ years of hands-on experience developing within the Oracle EPM Cloud suite.
- Deep technical expertise in Oracle EPBCS, with a strong understanding of Planning modules and custom application design.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to work directly with business users to gather requirements and explain technical logic in simple terms.

- Solid understanding of the broader EPM ecosystem and how it interacts with ERP systems and Data Warehouses.
- Experience with Groovy scripting for EPM business rules.
- Proficiency with EPM Automate, SQL, and managing complex ASO/BSO cube structures.
- Experience working within a global delivery model, collaborating with teams across different regions (USA/EMEA).
