Partner Manager, Global Delivery Partnerships

Account Management, Sales & Account Management
in Toronto, Canada

About the Role

Uber is redefining the future of grocery and retail. The Global Delivery Partnerships team is the bridge between Uber’s massive digital scale and the real-world operations of our largest national restaurant and merchant partners. As an Account Manager, your work isn’t just about maintaining a portfolio; it’s about navigating high-stakes ambiguity and building deep strategic value with complex brands.

This role is for someone who thrives in the "messy reality" of high-growth tech—you’ll need the grit to handle shifting priorities, the empathy to act as the merchant's internal advocate, and the analytical power to turn raw data into quarterly growth. You will own the long-term success of partners who rely on our platform to stay in business and reach millions of users. If you are motivated by real-world impact and are energized by a fast-paced environment where there is no one-size-fits-all playbook, this is where you’ll grow.

What You’ll Do

  • Navigate internal and external complexity as the go-to advocate for national restaurant partners, ensuring their needs are met across Product, Marketing, and Legal teams.
  • Scale business performance by developing and executing data-driven partnership strategies to hit quarterly growth targets.
  • Build and lead strategic relationships with C-level executives, earning trust fast to unlock expansion and upsell opportunities.
  • Drive operational excellence by using internal data to identify patterns in delivery timeliness and completion rates, then building actionable plans to fix them.
  • Communicate with impact, translating complex business models and analytical insights into clear, persuasive recommendations for both partners and internal leaders.
  • Influence without authority across cross-functional teams (Partner Engineering, Finance, Operations) to remove blockers and improve the merchant journey at scale.
  • Champion new product adoption by identifying creative ways to integrate Uber’s latest offerings into partner operations.
  • Stay resilient through difficult partner conversations and market shifts, always maintaining a "go-get-it" attitude even when things get messy.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience.
  • Experience client-facing role working with enterprise or mid-market accounts.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building joint business plans and prioritizing initiatives that drive long-term strategic value.
  • Proficiency in using data to quantify opportunities and influence decision-makers.
  • Deep domain knowledge in ads sales, marketing, or operations within the restaurant or retail industry.
  • Systems thinking mindset, with the ability to translate partner pain points into simplified technical next steps.
  • High degree of adaptability and comfort navigating high-ambiguity environments.
  • Strong negotiation and forecasting skills, with a track record of outperforming metrics-based goals.
