Senior Product Manager, Strategic Ads

Product Management, Product
in San Francisco, California

About the Role

Ads is one of Uber’s fastest-growing businesses and a critical driver of profitability.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of Uber’s Strategic Investment Platform — an internal ads system that empowers teams across Uber to promote the company’s top priorities, from safety and sustainability to membership and brand campaigns.

This platform will serve as the backbone for internal campaign promotion (house ads), giving internal teams a scalable, self-serve way to launch, target, and measure high-impact initiatives across Uber’s ecosystem. You’ll partner with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and cross-functional stakeholders to bring automation, intelligence, and rigor to how Uber communicates its most strategic messages.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and deliver the Strategic Investment Platform — Uber’s internal system for promoting company priorities across surfaces and audiences.

  • Translate strategic objectives (e.g., Uber One adoption, safety education, driver engagement) into product capabilities for campaign creation, targeting, delivery, and measurement.

  • Collaborate with the Ads Tech teams to leverage shared infrastructure while ensuring internal use cases have dedicated governance and measurement.

  • Drive self-serve tooling that enables internal stakeholders to launch compliant, data-driven campaigns quickly and safely.

  • Partner with engineering, data science, and design to build intuitive workflows and scalable systems.

  • Establish governance, measurement, and impact frameworks to ensure investment campaigns deliver quantifiable value.

  • Champion platform adoption and reliability, driving clarity and trust among internal teams using the system.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Management, or related field.

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally within ads, marketing tech, or internal platform products.

  • Proven track record of building and scaling complex platform systems in collaboration with engineering, design, and data science teams.

  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills with a customer-first mindset and high product quality bar.

  • Demonstrated ability to set OKRs, track KPIs, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of digital advertising systems, targeting, and measurement.
  • Hands-on experience with ads delivery systems, marketing automation, or internal campaign tooling.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to connect product capabilities to company-wide priorities and long-term goals.

  • Experience building internal or enterprise tools with multiple stakeholder groups.

  • Passion for Uber’s mission and the intersection of technology, operations, and customer experience.
