Senior Marketplace Operations Manager - EMEA Rides
About the Role
The scope of the role includes, together with the Portfolio team lead, the development and execution of our low-cost strategy, including XShare, Wait & Save, with a potential to expand to cover other low-cost options such as high-capacity vehicles (HCV), Moto, UberGo etc.
What You'll Do
Day-to-day includes:
- developing our low-cost strategy and executing on it
- owning the product relationship
- monitoring the performance of our low-cost portfolio and diagnosing issues & underperformance
- building the low-cost area roadmap together with the team lead
Basic Qualifications
The key experience that makes a person successful in role include:
- good business acumen and understanding how the low-cost products connect with our business objectives and what are their roles in the product portfolio
- good problem solving skills that support coming up with and validating key hypothesis around the benefits low-cost products bring
- strong analytical skills and a good ability to see the forest and the trees when looking at data - how do the macro perspectives get proven by the micro data
- excellent communication skills and working with stakeholders as we evolve the mentioned strategies

- proven track record of developing strategy and bringing it to life
- good examples of solving complex strategic problems at Uber or in a similar industry
- strong track record of working with tech, coming up with business insights and translating these into product features (asks)
