About the Role

The Global Digital Experience team at Uber is responsible for building and scaling enterprise-grade platforms that power Operations globally. As a Senior Product Operations Manager, you will own the strategic Product Operations portfolio for a defined Support operations vertical, driving step-change improvements in how enterprise tools are built, deployed, and scaled.

This role sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Global Operations. You will define the operating narrative for the vertical — determining what problems are prioritized, why they matter, and how success is measured — while ensuring alignment with broader company objectives and long-term platform strategy.

You will operate with significant autonomy and serve as the primary Product Operations partner to senior leadership within the vertical. A core part of your mandate will be leading the enterprise AI transformation roadmap, identifying, validating, and scaling GenAI-powered capabilities that materially improve productivity, quality, decision intelligence, and scalability across global Operations.

Success in this role requires strong strategic judgment, systems thinking, analytical depth, and the ability to drive executive alignment in highly matrixed, global environments.

This is an opportunity to shape the operating backbone of Uber — building intelligent, resilient enterprise platforms that redefine how Operations functions at scale.

What You'll Do

  • Own the strategic Product Operations portfolio for a defined Support vertical, setting priorities, sequencing investments, and ensuring alignment with company-wide objectives.
  • Co-shape the vertical product vision and roadmap by translating operational insights, scalability constraints, business trade-offs, and long-term platform considerations into clear decision frameworks.
  • Define and lead the enterprise AI transformation roadmap for the vertical, ensuring GenAI and automation initiatives deliver measurable step-change improvements in productivity, quality, and operational intelligence.
  • Serve as the primary Product Operations interface for senior leadership, driving alignment on strategic trade-offs, investment decisions, and success metrics.
  • Design and institutionalize scalable operating models, governance mechanisms, and feedback loops that enable enterprise-grade deployment across diverse regional and regulatory contexts.
  • Advise Product and Engineering teams on global feasibility, long-term maintainability, compliance requirements, and operational durability of proposed solutions.
  • Lead structured go-to-market and change management strategies for global rollouts, ensuring readiness, adoption, and measurable business impact.
  • Define and own the performance measurement framework for the vertical, proactively identifying performance gaps, adoption barriers, and opportunities to unlock incremental and step-change value.
  • Surface post-launch insights and systemic patterns to influence ongoing roadmap evolution and continuous product improvement.
  • Elevate Product Operations standards across the organization by codifying best practices, strengthening decision-making mechanisms, and improving how enterprise products are built and scaled.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in Product Operations, Operations, Strategy & Operations, Management Consulting, or a similarly analytical and cross-functional role.
  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong record of academic achievement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience owning complex, multi-stakeholder portfolios with significant business impact in a scaled product or enterprise environment.
  • Strong analytical fluency, with the ability to independently interrogate data, define measurable success metrics, and connect product performance to business outcomes.
  • Experience leading large-scale, global or multi-region product launches and operational transformations.
  • Proven ability to design and institutionalize scalable operating models, governance frameworks, and durable mechanisms that extend beyond individual programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving executive-level alignment.
  • Strong intuition for user experience, particularly within operational environments involving trust, safety, accessibility, or regulatory complexity.
  • Experience leading enterprise AI or GenAI integrations within scaled operational or platform environments.
  • Familiarity with products serving large-scale Support Operations, Sales Operations, or other enterprise operational verticals.
  • Strong business acumen, including the ability to articulate how product and platform decisions impact productivity, adoption, cost efficiency, and long-term growth.
  • Experience balancing innovation with operational rigor, compliance requirements, and scalability constraints.
  • SQL proficiency or demonstrated ability to independently analyze structured datasets.
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred but not required.
