Account Manager Lead, SMB
About the Role
The Partner Success Manager Incubator role is a great opportunity to demonstrate your relationship and manager skills for the assigned territory. This role focuses on post-sales of SMBs, managing a team which have to increase retention as well as driving business growth, with mutually helpful outcomes. Partner Success Manager are critical to retaining our highest value accounts, ensuring partners are successful on our platform, and exploiting opportunities to improve our business metrics for our restaurants and for Uber Eats.
What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points
Lead a team which will lead post-deal partner management for a high value and high potential portfolio of restaurant partners
Make you team owner of partner relationships to yield tangible metrics outcomes. Achieve revenue growth targets for your team, upsell new product features and ensure retention by driving mutual business value
Be the voice of the customer to our team members - translate their needs and advocate on their behalf
Understand the industry landscape and ensure we have positive relationships throughout our restaurant partner organizations
Conceive, design, and lead growth initiatives with our restaurant partners and drive through to completion, working cross functionally with Uber's internal teams and our restaurant partners
Set, track and report on performance metrics of restaurant partners, run monthly/quarterly business reviews
Basic Qualifications
+3 years experience, ideally in a commercial function with manager skills
You have manager skills ensuring a high performance team
You have previous customer-facing experience and have been accountable for achieving business targets or delivering a quota
Confident in making data-led decisions and using sound business judgment
Great project manager who can develop detailed joint business plans with our restaurant partners and consistently deliver above expectations
Strong executive presence and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
Speed, resourcefulness, and go-getter attitude. This team moves fast and always operates in new spaces
Preferred Qualifications
Highly autonomous - able to work with minimal oversight
Manager Skills - Manage a team of 4 people
Willingness to work hard, roll up sleeves, and get in the weeds with our highest value partners
Proficiency in Spanish and Business English
