HR General Affairs & Administration Manager - Crown Taxi
About the Role
This role is employed by Crown Taxi (an Uber subsidiary in Taiwan), and responsible for its day-to-day operational & administrative management. The position partners closely with the business owner to provide accurate financial reporting, ensure smooth office operations, support employees, and manage compliance and administrative requirements associated with operating a subsidiary business.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong business acumen, operational discipline, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a small, fast-moving environment.
Your Impact in Role
Employee Support & HR Administration
Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions related to payroll, benefits, policies, and general employment matters.
Support recruitment activities, including coordination with hiring managers, agencies, and candidates.
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with local employment regulations.
Office & Vendor Management
Manage payments, including leasing, vendor invoices, and recurring operational expenses.
Liaise with payroll providers, and auditors as required.
Ensure compliance with local financial, tax, and statutory requirements.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Taiwan office.
Manage office leasing arrangements, payments, and vendor relationships.
Ensure office systems, processes, and supplies are maintained efficiently.
Act as the primary point of contact for local operational matters.
Handle administrative tasks associated with operating a subsidiary, including documentation, filings, and local compliance requirements.
Coordinate with global teams as needed to align processes and reporting.
Support ad hoc projects and business initiatives as directed by the business owner.
The Experience You'll Bring
Experience in Human Resources or related roles.
Strong understanding of budgeting, and expense management is a nice to have.
Experience supporting or managing a subsidiary or small business is highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support employees and senior stakeholders.
Proficiency in spreadsheets, and office productivity tools.
Proficiency in English is required.
