Marketing Technology Manager, Channels
About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and execution-driven Programmatic Buyer/Trader to join our brand media team. This role is designed for a tactical strategist who excels at "hands-on-keyboard" execution across both Demand Side Platforms (DSPs) and the Google Ads suite. This position offers the opportunity to influence a significant media budget and drive innovation within a data-centric organization. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our programmatic roadmap and scaling our presence in the digital video space.
The ideal candidate lives in the data, thrives on real-time optimization, and possesses a deep technical understanding of the Digital Video and CTV/OTT ecosystem.
What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end management of high-scale programmatic campaigns across multiple Demand Side Platforms (DSPs), ensuring rigorous adherence to performance KPIs.
- Partner with the Marketing Technology Manager strategy and execution of Digital Video and Streaming TV (CTV/OTT) investments, maintaining a deep understanding of inventory quality, viewability standards, and cross-screen measurement.
- Negotiate and oversee Private Marketplace (PMP) and Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) agreements, ensuring optimal access to premium inventory and favorable pricing.
- Synthesize complex datasets into high-level performance reports, providing stakeholders with clear, data-backed recommendations to inform future media optimizations & investment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation of tracking & event sharing, audience segments, and creative assets, maintaining a high standard of operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with programmatic platforms like The Trade Desk, Google Ads, DV360, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong planning and organizational skills; able to juggle multiple priorities and operate in a fast paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets.
Experience managing 8- to 9-figure annual budgets across multiple platforms and geographies.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and stay within deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills (Excel, SQL a plus) with multivariate testing experience.
- Understanding of ad-tech, including integration, tracking, both pixel and mobile app.
- Ability to adapt to quick changes within both the company and industry
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$140,000 per year - USD$155,500 per year.
