Uber to pilot new prepaid driver subscriptions in Kumasi

We have been listening to driver feedback and we’re happy to announce that as of Monday, 18 November 2019, we’ll be giving select Driver Partners in Kumasi the opportunity to test our new, prepaid driver subscription. An industry first, the prepaid subscription will give drivers unlimited access to the Uber app for the duration of the subscription period—without any additional service fees. Simply pay and drive.

We want you to know we value every driver that chooses the Uber platform, and we work hard every day to provide solutions that make your experience on Uber better.

During the testing period, subscriptions will be available by invitation only. Invited partners will be required to opt-in to participate in the subscriptions testing and complete any respective driver-partner onboarding requirements to operate on the app.
