We’re Powering-Up London

We want to make it easier and more affordable for you to switch to an EV, so we can reach our end of 2025 100% electric vehicle (EV) goal together.

That's why we’ve launched the ‘PowerUp Package’. Find out below how Uber is supporting your EV journey with up to £22,750 in savings available.

The PowerUp Package explained:

    • For you to claim on new or used fully electric vehicles
    • From our partners or from your own provider of choice.
    • Add it to your account before 30 November 2024
    • If you already have EV Assistance from the Clean Air Plan we'll boost this to £5,000 until November 30, 2024. After this time, it will return to its original amount.

To be eligible for £5,000 EV Assistance, you must have:

    • Completed fewer than 10 EV trips in the 6 months before 21 May 2024 and
    • Have an EV added to your account by 30th November 2024.
    • Have less than £4,900 in EV Assistance
    • Not previously used your EV Assistance to purchase an EV and subsequently switched back to a non-EV
    • Full T&Cs here.
  • We've increased the discount for you through our partner Humming Bird Motors!

    • Get up to £13k off Kia Niro EV models
    • Or up to £17k off the Kia EV6
    • Vendor specific terms apply

Rent-To-Buy deals are even better too, with even further savings on Kia models from our vehicle partners.

  • Subscribe to our bp pulse <> Uber offer - with zero subscription fee!

    • If you’re one of the first 8,000 active drivers to subscribe, you’ll be eligible for up to £750 of charging credits.
    • That’s 3 months of charging credits (up to £250 per month, maximum of £750)
    • New sign ups will automatically become eligible when your subscription is active, and your Uber status is validated.
    • The moment you subscribe is when your three-month £250 per month credit starts, even if it's before you start your EV adventure. Begin your subscription when you're EV-ready to optimise the use of your credits, as they expire at each billing cycle's end

If you’ve used bp pulse before:

    • Subscribed and linked your Uber and bp pulse accounts? Credits will auto-apply to your account after the next billing cycle.
    • Uncertain about account linking? Simply reset your password and link your Uber Driver account! Set up your direct debit to complete the subscription.

What if I reach the limit?

    • If you reach your monthly £250 EV charging credit allowance, you will be charged bp pulse’s lowest EV charging rates for the remaining kWh in the month.
    • These rates are 27p/kWh for speeds of 7kWh and 49p/kWh for speeds of 50kWh and above.
    • These exclusive Uber driver prices are available only after your Direct Debit is setup as part of the subscription process (up to 3 working days), and can only be redeemed when charging using the bp pulse app or with your bp pulse charge card (which arrives by post within 7-10 days)
