What is UberCHICHÉN?

UberCHICHÉN allows you to have a private trip for you and three other people to explore Chichén Itzá for up to three hours. Your driver will wait for you while you enjoy the archeological site and take you back to your hotel or home in Mérida.

It is not a guided visit, but a flexible option which offers transportation that will allow you to get to Chichén Itzá without worrying about reservations or depending on other people. You can request UberCHICHÉN from your Uber app in Mérida . Remember that you can take a trip with maximum four people and split the fare.

How it works?

Request a trip with the “uberCHICHÉN” option and your driver will arrive ready for the trip to Chichén Itzá. You will travel using the best and fastest route which includes the toll in the trip fare. You won’t need to worry about anything.
Enjoy the three hours that you have to visit Chichén Itzá. Keep in mind that the trip fare does not include the entrance ticket to the site, nor the guided visits.
When you wish to go back to Mérida, even if it’s before your three available hours run out, get in touch with your driver by call or text and he will meet your at the nearest parking lot.
The driver will finish the trip at the destination point back in Mérida.

Terms and Conditions of the special view called “UberCHICHEN”

These terms and conditions regulate the participation of any person who wishes to use the special view called “UberCHICHEN”, wich Uber B.V. residing in Mr. Treublaan 7 1097 DP Amsterdam puts at your disposal to take a trip to Chichen Itza.

By using the special view, it will be understood that the user has read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.
1. Background
  
  With the purpose that Users can use the special view called UberCHICHEN in UberX mode, which will be valid from March 24, 2018 and until April 8, 2018 from 06:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to take a trip to visit Chichen Itza, must be in accordance with the following:
1. Validity, limits and restrictions of the Promotion
1. Have an active account in the Uber App.
  
  Use the special view called “UberCHICHEN” in the UberX mode.
  
  The applicants to the trip can only be natural persons, of legal age, who have their domicile and residence in Mérida, Yucatán.
  
  Each applicant may be accompanied by 3 people, counting 4 people in total. Under no circumstances can they be more.
  
  Trips will only be made from Merida, Yucatan to Chichen Itza, the trip can not be terminated at an intermediate point both ways.
  
  Once Chichen Itza is reached, the Driving Partner must wait for the User and his / her companions at a point of departure agreed between them, for a maximum of 3 hours, counted from the moment they arrive at Chichen Itza.
  
  The cost of the trip, including the departure, tolls and waiting time will be MXN $ 2,200.00 (two thousand two hundred pesos 00/100 M.N.).
1. Geographical coverage of the Promotion
The Promotion will only be valid in the city of Mérida, Yucatán.

Solely and exclusively for the purposes related to the treatment and protection of your personal data, you are informed that the responsible entity is Uber B.V., domiciled at Mr. Treublaan 7 1097 DP Amsterdam, which will be treated with the sole purpose of Registering your participation in the Promotion, to contact the Users and coordinate the delivery of the Products that integrate the Promotion and for purposes of dissemination, promotion or marketing.
