Introducing Comfort, a comfortable and spacious ride option that’s designed to give riders an elevated experience and increase your earning opportunities. Comfort connects riders with top-rated driver-partners with newer vehicles. 
What can you expect with Comfort
New rating, trip, and vehicle criteria 
In order to be eligible for Comfort trips, driver-partners will need to: 
Maintain an average rating of 4.85 or above
Complete at least 250 trips
Drive an eligible model vehicle that is manufactured in within 7 years (in or after 2012)
Please note that if at any time your average rating falls below 4.85, you will stop receiving Comfort trips. Once your average rating returns to 4.85 or above you will once again begin receiving Comfort trips. 
Higher trip rates than UberX
The price of a Comfort trip is 1.3 times the price of the same UberX trip, so eligible driver-partners will make more for each Comfort trip they take. Cancellation fee will be increased from $20 to $25. To see the rates for Comfort and other products, just click here.
Ride Preferences 
Riders may choose to take Comfort when they are looking for an elevated service, so we’ve developed an in-app feature – Ride Preferences – for riders to indicate their preferences. When a rider requests a Comfort trip, they can request their ideal temperature and let you know if they wish to chat, all shown on your Driver app before you arrive.

To ensure a comfortable experience for riders, we encourage driver-partners to deliver best-in-class service. For example, fully catering to their Ride Preferences is a great start. You can:
Adjust your vehicle temperature to rider’s preferred temperature (warm, hot, cold, cool)
Be friendly and helpful while catering to their conversation preference (quiet or chatty)

How do fares work for Comfort?Down Small

You will automatically receive Comfort trip requests if you meet the trip, rating and vehicle requirements.
