Use Uber’s in-app safety features to ride with more peace of mind. From screening processes to in-app emergency assistance, you can feel more confident when riding with Uber. In addition, all drivers using Uber Moto are required to have a helmet and head net for you – for added peace of mind.

You can request one seat only with Uber Moto. If you need to send a package, we suggest you request a trip using Courier – the on-demand delivery option that allows you to send items across town in just a few taps.

Please note, that for now, Uber Moto trips are only available in the Western Suburbs of the Johannesburg CBD. This includes Braamfontein, Melville, Greenside, Brixton, Mayfair, Fordsburg, Rossmore, Langlaagte, Richmond and the University of Johannesburg.
