We’re excited to announce that Uber Comfort is now available in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban! With Uber Comfort, riders can relax in newer, mid-sized, vehicles with highly-rated and experienced drivers. To make the trip even more pleasant, riders can also choose their ride preferences. A little extra comfort comes a long way.
What features does Uber Comfort offer?
With Comfort, riders get experienced and highly- rated drivers (with a  rating of 4.92 and above) with newer-model vehicles that offer extra legroom. Additionally, the option allows riders to choose their ride preferences before they even get into the car! 
Temperature preferences – based on 3 different presets, riders may select preferred temperature inside the car.
Conversation preferences – riders may specify whether they are in a mood for a chat or whether they need a bit of a down time.
Extra paid wait time – drivers may wait for the rider for up to 5 minutes without additional charge

Uber Comfort has been designed for all riders who want additional comfort, at an attractive price. Whether you’re on your way to work or winding down for a night out, get ready to enjoy a little bit of comfort in your everyday trips.
