E-hailing Protest – April 2023

We are aware that a group of e-hailing drivers are protesting and that this may have impacted your ability to request a ride. We are closely monitoring the situation and engaging directly with drivers using our various channels to work towards addressing the issues. 

Safety is a top priority, and we encourage you to make use of the safety features on the app should you need assistance. From the in-app emergency button to sharing your ETA, Uber’s in-app safety features help to keep you connected and feeling protected when you ride.
