Patrick requests when he is ready. He doesn’t keep the driver waiting.
- Remember, driver partners’ time is valuable too and they are more than happy to help you as soon as they accept your request.
- How long can you make your driver wait? 5-10 minutes. Need him to stick around for longer? We recommend that you end this ride and request another one when you are ready to leave.
Patrick knows where he is going. He always enters his destination, within the coverage area.
- Double-check your pick-up location on the map in the Uber app before hitting the ‘Request’ button. Pinning your location properly will save both you AND the driver valuable time so you can get going sooner.
Patrick is mindful. He matches the driver photo and car number before entering the car.
- Confirm you’re getting in the right Uber. If name / license doesn’t match, cancel the ride and report to us – Review your trip by selecting Help and Support within the app itself
Patrick travels with not more than 3 friends. If there’s a larger party, he asks his friends to request for another Uber.
- Your Uber can take a maximum of 4 people per ride – travel comfortably!
Patrick is polite, he greets the driver with a warm smile.
- Be respectful of your drivers. Raising your voice or using strong language is not very Patrick-like.
Patrick is respectful. He neither eats nor smokes or drinks in the car. Period.
- Be respectful of your driver’s wishes as it is their office you’re sitting in. Help keep your driver’s vehicle clean.
Patrick always carries enough change to pay for cash trips.
- No more haggling with the driver-partners.
Patrick rates the driver responsibly after each trip. He gives a 5 star rating for good service.
- Rate your driver based on your driver’s performance and quality of service. Drivers do not control the fare. If you have a question, select your trip and tell us your problem, within the Help section on your app and we’ll be happy to review your fare!
