We are delighted to announce Raymund Li is taking on the new role of General Manager of Uber’s mobility business in Taiwan, reporting into Pradeep Parameswaran, President, Uber APAC.

Raymund joined Uber in 2016, and has played an instrumental role in our global growth for the Mobility business across international markets over the last few years. He helped shape our platform strategy to integrate different modes of transport, drove our go-to market plans to accelerate the launch of new business lines and led key partnership integrations.

Prior to Uber, Raymund spent time at McKinsey & Company where he acquired valuable  international business & strategy experience from a wide range of industries across banking, tech and energy. He graduated with a degree in business and accountancy from the University of the Philippines.

Commenting on his appointment, Raymund said “Our Taiwan team has done a great job building a favorable brand and compliant business operation over the last few years.  By listening to the voices of riders and drivers and collaborating with industry partners and the government, I am committed to making Uber a continued valuable and trusted partner to Taiwan.

I have been in Taiwan for a few weeks now,  and have been amazed at the diverse and delicious food, vibrant city life, and most strikingly, the hospitality of the people. I have also found Uber Pass very beneficial. I can get around the city and get food all at the push of a button, while enjoying the all-in-one bundle of benefits.“
