Ramadan is the season of giving and helping others and we’re here to lend a helping hand. To spread the love, we’ve partnered with Turkish Red Crescent to bring you the Uber Food Drive. Between 17-21 June, you can first donate food, then take a ride and get instantly rewarded.
Donate 2 Canned or Packaged Nonperishable Food
And Receive up to 500 TL in Uber Credits
- Open the Uber app between 17-21 June 09:00 – 19:00
- Request the FOOD DRIVE option in your app
- Bring at least two canned or packaged nonperishable goods* on your ride and hand them to your driver
- Your driver will hand you a thank you card
- Enter your promo code in the app and earn 10 TL, 50 TL or 500 TL in Uber credit
- If you want to take a ride, just hop on and your driver will take you where you need to be as usual. The trip fare will be calculated based on time and distance according to the uberXL rates.
- If you do not want to take a ride you will not be charged for this request. Now that you made a donation you can go back peacefully!
- Don’t wait — there’s a limited amount of tickets out there, so ride and donate now
* Expiration date should not be sooner than 6 months. Packages / cans should not be open, torn, soaked or in any bad condition. Example goods: Unopened dried legumes, pasta, rice, lentil, flour, sugar, baby biscuits. Canned tuna, corn, beans, peas.

NO UBER AROUND YOU?
There will be many cars in central districts such as Şişli, Beşiktaş, Beyoğlu, Kadıköy to fulfil the demand as much as we can. If you still can not find a car, don’t worry there’s always a solution. Just type UBERLEPAYLAS and send an SMS to 2868. Every SMS means you donate 10 TL to those in need. The amount you donated will be charged to your phone bill.
