There’s a fun, new way to explore Stockholm and Malmö: Lime e-scooters are now available in the Uber app. Enjoy a quick and affordable ride around town today.
Lime e-scooters are available in the Uber app for the same price as in the Lime app. Scooters costs 10 SEK to unlock and then 3 SEK per minute. All scooters have a maximum speed of 24km/h.
How to use Lime e-scooters:
- Open the Uber app.
- On the home screen, tap the [Bike/Scooter] icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Select Scooter to see the Lime e-scooters near you.
- Go to the nearest e-scooter and scan the QR code on the handlebar to unlock it.
- Accept the Lime terms and conditions and select a form of payment.
- Follow the safety instructions in the app and start your journey.
- When you arrive at the destination, open the Uber app and follow the local parking instructions to complete the ride.
Ride responsibly
- The use of e-scooters is only allowed where cycling is permitted in [CITY]: roads and bike lanes are generally safe terrains.
- Do not ride on sidewalks, where pedestrians are at risk.
- We recommend that you wear a helmet.
- Only ride with one person per e-scooter.
- Do not ride with heavy objects.
- Park the e-scooter in a suitable location after your journey, eg. near a bicycle stand.
