About the role
As the Nordics Rider Growth & Communication specialist in Northern Europe, you will focus on supporting the region in driving growth and engagement across its rider base. You will play a critical role within the team by I) Identifying new rider growth activities for the region in partnership with cross-functional teams, II) Driving and implementing key growth partnerships for the full Northern Europe region, and III) Creating, localizing and executing driver and rider communication in the Nordics.
While the role will have a high degree of problem solving, analytics, creative thinking and project management, you’ll also need to be comfortable with owning the rolling cadence of communication (e.g. translations and localization of campaigns).
What You’ll Do
- Distill insights from data about our rider base & develop actions based on these insights, including managing operational rider growth partnerships.
- Lead the preparation of Rider and Driver communication in the Nordics, including copy-writing, translations, localization, campaign design, promotion code setup, and project management for both local and global campaigns.
- Own the process for festivals, events and other recurring or once-off partnerships
- Actively seek out and recommend new channels, events, and partnerships to attract riders
- Design the (communication) strategy with a long-term vision focused on loyalty
What You’ll Need
- Fluent Swedish & English are required, additional Nordic languages or French are preferred
- Ability to do basic analyses to spot opportunities or test performance
- Strong written communication skills; copy-writing experience preferred
- Organized and structured – being able to set out clear timelines, and processes you want others to follow
- Able to work on and make progress on multiple projects at the same time
- A natural team player, with a strong track record of excellent stakeholder management and able to adapt quickly into a new environment.
- Attention to detail
- Hustle – Uber moves fast, and runs lean. It’s a marathon at sprint pace. You’re a fun, charismatic, people person who can talk to anyone; flexible and confident, you’re also excited to help build something awesome, share it with the world and work up a sweat doing it.
- The role is based in Stockholm
