Every Ramadan, Muslims travel from across the world to the Holy Mosque in Makkah to perform Umrah.
The Uber Saudi team has been hard at work to make getting to and around Makkah as seamless and as affordable as possible, and have even created a dedicated ‘Umrah’ view in the Uber app.
How It Works
- Open or download the Uber app for iOS or Android
- Move the slider to the ‘Umrah‘ option
- Confirm your pickup location on the map and request a ride
- Drivers on the Umrah option are dedicated exclusively to trips between Jeddah and Makkah.
- All trips from Jeddah to Makkah on ‘Umrah’ are a flat fare of only SAR230 during Ramadan
Leaving Makkah?
- Once you have completed your Umrah, you will also be able to request an Uber in Makkah to return to Jeddah.
- Cars in Makkah will be dedicated to trips from Makkah to Jeddah only.
- Trips from Makkah to Jeddah on ‘Umrah’ are a flat fare of only SAR230 during Ramadan.
