At Uber Eats, we believe feedback makes us better. We strive to ensure everyone is happy with their experience using the app– whether they’re an eater, delivery partner, or restaurant partner, and ratings help with this.
As soon as a delivery has been picked up, you’re given the option to rate your delivery partner with a thumbs up or thumbs down in the Order History tab of Restaurant Dashboard.
While rating is a quick process, we understand it takes extra effort, especially during service, and it may seem easier to forgo rating your delivery partner. But rating your delivery partner has significant benefits.
Your ratings mean a lot to our delivery partners who use the platform to earn, it also helps ensure that people using the platform safely and meeting important quality standards.
Rewarding a good job
Everybody likes to know if they’re performing well, the same is true of partners using the Uber Eats app. If you see partners going above and beyond, make sure you let them know with a thumbs up.
Ensuring safety & quality
If you notice a delivery partner treating restaurant staff or customers disrespectfully or in an unsafe manner, we encourage you to rate your delivery partner and report it through Restaurant Dashboard by tapping ‘Help Centre> Order Support> How do I give delivery partner quality feedback?’
From there, you’ll be asked to leave a description, and our support team will follow up. You should report any incident where the delivery partner:
- Tampers with food items or delivers unsafely
- Makes physical contact with customers or restaurant staff
- Uses inappropriate and abusive language or gestures
- Drives or delivers under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs
Keep in mind you can also report any other issues regarding the quality of the delivery partner’s service through the ‘Help Centre> Order Support’ option mentioned above.
With the help of your ratings, we can continue to ensure the Uber Eats app offers a great experience for everyone.
