Now being an outstanding Uber driver-partner or Uber Eats delivery-partner can be even more rewarding because riders and Uber Eats users have the option to thank you with a tip at the end of each ride or delivery. This new feature in the app gives everyone the chance to show gratitude for an exceptional experience.
We know that driver-partners and delivery-partners like you strive to deliver remarkable service and be rewarded with positive ratings. Tipping now gives you the chance to be rewarded further.
How it works: Rides
Riders need to make sure they have the latest version of the app to provide you with a tip. They add a tip after rating the ride. Tips can also be added from their trip history and trip receipt. They have up to 30 days after the trip is completed to give a tip
Riders will select a preset amount for your tip or enter a custom tip if they like to provide a different amount and tap 'Done'
How it works: Uber Eats
Eaters need to make sure to download the latest version of the Uber Eats app. To give you a tip, they first rate the order after receiving the food. Eaters have up to 7 days after the delivery is completed to give a tip.
Select a preset amount for the delivery or enter a custom tip if they like to provide a different amount. They tap 'Submit and Continue' to send the tip.
