The new Driver app

To find the ‘Account’ tab, simply tap your profile photo from the main screen, then tap ‘Account’. Here, you’ll be able to add vehicles and access your payment preferences, documents, app settings (where you can make changes to your navigation or accessibility settings, and toggle on or off Night Mode) and more.

To find the ‘Earnings’ tab, simply tap your profile photo from the main screen, then tap ‘Earnings’. Alternatively, you might notice a dollar amount at the top of your main screen – you can also tap into the dollar amount to see your daily and weekly totals, as well as fares from your last trip.

Acceptance and cancellation rates are not currently shown in the new Driver app. From your feedback, we know that many partners find them useful , so we’re looking into new ways to get this information for you. We’ll let you know as soon as we have more to share.

To turn off night mode:

Here, you can choose to make ‘Night Mode’ automatic (so that the app enables and disables night mode automatically), keep it on permanently (so that night mode is always on), or keep it off permanently (so that night mode is never on).

Navigate to your ‘Earnings Tracker’ and tap the eye icon in the top left corner. This will allow you to hide earnings amounts whenever the ‘Earnings Tracker’ is not open.

You can choose what types of trip requests you receive the same way you did with the previous Uber Driver app.

From your ‘Trip planner’, tap the toggle icon in the lower-right-corner. This should take you to your ‘Driving Preferences’ screen.

From there, you can choose to turn on or off the different types of trip requests you’re eligible for.

You can locate your in-app messages by tapping on your profile photo in the top right corner of the main screen, then tapping on ‘Notifications’. You’ll see a list of your read and unread messages, like an email inbox.

From the main screen of your app, tap your profile picture and then tap ‘Help’ in the top right corner.

You can also contact Support by tapping the question mark (‘?’) icon that appears on your screen in the ‘Trip Details’ section or on the ‘Earnings Tracker’.

You can access your Momentum card at any time by tapping Perks. To navigate to Perks, simply tap on your profile photo in the top right corner of your main screen. Then, navigate to your ‘Account’ section, and tap on ‘Perks’
