Information for delivery partners in New Zealand

Useful tax information is available on your Tax Summaries which you can access through your partner dashboard. We want to help you understand and meet your tax obligations, but it’s important to note that Uber Eats is unable to provide tax advice and is not responsible for your compliance with your tax obligations.

Where to find your tax information

You can find tax information on your Uber profile. We’ll notify you when your annual Tax Summary is ready.

  • Click on “Tax Summary”
  • Select the relevant statement

Your Tax Summary document includes helpful information such as:

  • Your total earnings (e.g. gross fees)
  • Potential business expenses (e.g. mileage etc.)

Delivery terms and definitions

  • This equals the delivery fees you charge to Uber Eats.

  • Tolls are added to your fare on your behalf and form part of the Delivery Fee. 

  • These amounts are paid to you by Uber Eats for incentives and promotions that you choose to complete.

  • These amounts are paid to you for Referrals.

  • These amounts are paid to you by Uber Eats for miscellaneous one-time payments that you may receive from time to time.

  • These are amounts paid to you as tips.

  • An estimate of the number of kilometres driven while delivering for Uber Eats. This information only includes the kilometres from item pickup to drop-off.
