Select “Pay Period” to reconcile your downloaded reports with the Payments tab on Uber Eats Manager.
We’re introducing an option to select ‘Pay Period’ in the date tool when downloading a store or item Payment Details report from the Reports tab on Uber Eats Manager. This will ensure that the data on the report will match what can be seen in the Payments tab on Uber Eats manager – even those midnight orders that can sometimes get attributed to the next day.
“Remaining balance” will now be shown under the payments breakdown for any negative balances.
There may be times when Uber Eats deductions are higher than your earnings. This could happen due to chargebacks from inaccurate orders, fees from marketing or other reasons. When you have a negative balance for payout cycle, it is carried over to the next payout cycle and balanced with the total payout of that next cycle.
To provide more visibility, we are adding a line item called “Remaining Balance” in the payment breakdown of the Payments tab and the pay statement email. This will only show when the remaining balance from the previous payout cycle is negative.
Introducing refund and tax on refund columns to downloaded reports for better transparency
Customer refunds may sometimes be charged back to the restaurant partner. We currently show this as a separate row to the original order. With the new Refund (excl. tax), Tax on Refund and Refund (incl. tax) columns, we are making these values much more transparent and easier to calculate. These changes can be found in the store and item Payment Details report and the Payout Summary report found on Uber Eats Manager.
