Auckland driver-partners, your discount rides have arrived!

We’re excited to announce that driver-partners who sign up to ride with Uber and take their first ride will get $10 off their first 2 rides! After that, driver-partners are eligible for 5%, 10%, 12.5% or 15% off each trip for 10 trips each month depending on their Uber tier Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum. The offer will end on the 1st of February 2018.
How does it work?
Each month, driver-partners will get a month to redeem their discounted rides based on their Momentum tier. The promotion will run until the 1st of February 2018 and is subject to the Terms and Conditions.
How do I claim my free rides?
To claim discounted rides, all you have to do is download the Uber rider app, sign up and request a ride. Then just sit back and relax – the promotion will be automatically applied to your rider account. For a step-by-step introduction on how to use the Uber rider app, check out the video below.
 

Terms and Conditions
The Uber Momentum Rider Discount will run from 01/08/2017 until the 01/02/2018 (Promotional Period). The promotion codes provided by Uber under this promotion can only be applied to trips taken on uberX, uberXL, or UberASSIST and in the country where the driver-partner account is active. Any discount under this promotion is non-transferable. Promotion applies in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland only.

Driver-partners will be eligible for two types of discounts under this promotion:
(1) if the driver-partner has not taken a trip as a rider with Uber as at the commencement of the Promotional Period, the driver-partner will be eligible for 2 x $10 discounted trips using Uber (New Rider Promotion); and
(2) if the driver-partner has taken a trip as a rider with Uber at any time before or during the Promotional Period, the driver-partner will be eligible for 10 discounted rides (discount to be determined by Uber from time to time) with the discount tiered based on the driver-partner’s Momentum Status (Existing Rider Promotion).

New Rider Promotion: The New Rider Promotion will expire at the end of the Promotional Period and any credits will no longer be capable of being redeemed from that time. The New Rider Promotion discount may only be used during single trips and cannot be aggregated during the same trip. Any residual credit will be forfeited where a trip’s value is less than $10.

Existing Rider Promotion:
If a driver’s Momentum status upgrades at any time in the Promotional Period at the end of a month there will be a two day delay until the new discount is applied. The discounts under this promotion will only apply where the driver has used the same log-in details for their rider account.
