New: Change your pick up location after you’ve ordered a ride or send a text message to your driver!

From this week forward, you will be able to change your pick up location with one simple action after you have ordered an Uber.
The pickup is a core part of the Uber experience. We’re always looking for ways to improve this.
Previously, it was not possible to adjust the pick-up location after ordering an Uber. This adjustment has been made due to feedback of both riders and drivers. Furthermore, users will be able to contact their drivers through text messaging. These new options in the application are designed to make an Uber trip easier for both you and the Driver.
 
ADJUSTING PICK UP LOCATION
Here’s how it works:
Once your driver is en route, tap “edit” next to your pickup location
Enter your new pickup address and tap “confirm”
Once a rider updates their pickup location, drivers will be notified of the new location and have their route updated.
CONTACTING YOUR DRIVER
Did you notice a road block due to road works? Or has your driver been standing still for a while and are you wondering why?
Through the app it has always been possible to anonymously call your driver. From now on it is also possible to text your driver.
Here’s how it works:
Once you ordered a trip and the driver is on his way, open the screen in which you can see the picture of the driver and the number plate of the car.
Press on “contact”, this will provide the option to call or text your driver, which is always anonymously.
