As we celebrate the festive season, join us as we spread the joy of Christmas with UberGIVING!
Do your part in making someone’s day. On 23rd and 24th December 2016, our team of elves will come to collect your donations to be contributed to the House of Hope, Penang, to provide aid to underprivileged families. All of this can be done with just a tap of a button.
WHAT TO DONATE:
The House of Hope, Penang would very much appreciate donations of items listed below to help ease their burden over the coming new year!
- Unused clothes
- Books
- Toys
- Canned and dry food
- Rice
- Oats
- Any other gifts of your choice!
HOW TO REQUEST:
- Open your app on Dec 23rd and 24th, Friday and Saturday from 12pm – 5pm.
- Move the slider to UberGIVING and request for a ride.
Have the new Uber app? Tap the UberGIVING card at the bottom of the app to request. - On successful request, our team of elves will be on their way to collect your donations from your doorstep!
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO KNOW:
Demand will be high & availability limited: UberGIVING will be available on Friday and Saturday, 23 and 24 December from 12pm – 5pm. Keep trying as we’ll be working hard to reach as many of you as possible.
Spread the word to your friends and family: Share the message with your friends and family, and encourage them to do their bit this Christmas.
Donate responsibly: Please make sure to donate responsibly and ensure all items are in good condition. You can donate anything from the list above, but please do not donate any fresh items, including chocolate and candy to ensure the health and safety of the residents in House of Hope, Penang.
