Q. When will I receive my payment for fares earned?
A. Every Tuesday morning, you will receive a partner statement (accessible through partners.uber.com) which summarises your total earnings for the previous week. This will include all trip fares, as well as miscellaneous payments such as incentives or referral rewards. The money will be deposited into your bank account every Thursday.
Q. How do I update my bank account details?
A. Please log into vault.uber.com if you would like to update your bank account details.
Q. What driver incentives am I eligible for?
A. Uber Kota Kinabalu incentives are hourly guarantees on gross fares, which you can view at t.uber.com/kkguarantees. These may be updated over time, so always check back for the latest guarantees!
Q. I received another request while I was on trip! What’s going on?
A. In order to maximise your earnings and make your time online more efficient, you will sometimes receive a request for your next trip as you approach the destination of your current trip. Please accept the trip as per usual, and you’ll receive directions to the next pick up as soon as you drop off your first rider! Don’t worry, your next rider will be informed that you’re currently completing a trip.
Q. I have friends to refer to drive as partners in KK! Do I get a referral reward?
A. Yes! Our current referral reward is RM120 per partner referred as soon as they complete 30 trips! This will be updated from time to time, so do check out the ‘Earnings’ > ‘Invitations’ section of the Uber Partner app for the latest referral rewards!
Q. I’ve been waiting for my rider at the pick up location but he hasn’t showed up! What should I do?
A. Tap the clipboard icon at the top right corner of your screen to view your rider’s contact details, and call to let them know that you’ve arrived. Please start the trip 2 minutes after arriving at the pick up location in order to minimise time spent waiting without earning!
