Uber Zones at Penn
To make getting a ride faster and easier, we’ve created Uber Zones—designated locations where you can get picked up and dropped off more easily—all across Penn’s campus, from Hamilton Village to Penn Park. Some areas have multiple Uber Zones nearby, so you can choose a location that’s most convenient for you.
While we encourage you to use the Uber Zones whenever possible, you can also request a ride from other vehicle-accessible areas throughout campus. See below for the current list of Uber Zones at Penn.
How it works
- Download the Uber Rider app and set up an Uber account. To apply the promotion code (for first time riders only), tap the menu (3 horizontal lines) in the top left corner of the app, and enter the promotion code in the Payments tab.
- If you already have an account, just open the Uber app, and enter your destination.
- Move your pickup location to an Uber Zone pin that is most convenient for you. If there are none nearby, make sure your pickup location is in a vehicle-accessible area.
- Tap ‘Confirm’ and head to the Uber Zone or pickup location you chose. Your driver will know to meet you there.
