Terms and Conditions for the ‘Driver Green incentive’ by Rides & Eats
14 November 2022 / Malta- Rides and Eats, local partner of Uber, is offering an incentive (the “Offer”) to help drivers transitioning from internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles to electric or hybrid vehicles.
- Eligibility: Drivers are eligible to the Offer if they purchased a new electric or hybrid vehicle and completed at least 100 trips with their new vehicle by using the Uber app. Fleet Partners are only eligible to receive the Offer once.
- Amount of the Offer: the amount of the Offer is calculated on a per trip basis completed by the Driver on the Uber app by using his/her original internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle, during the Earn Period, as defined below. The Offer will correspond to an amount of 1 euro per trip, within the limit of 2,500 euros per eligible driver.
- Earn Period: Drivers can benefit from this Offer by completing trips with their ICE vehicle during the period starting from December 1st 2022 to December 31, 2023.
- Payment: Eligible Drivers can request the payment of the Offer by writing an email to info@ridesandeats.com at any date within 12 months after the end of the Earn Period (31 December 2024), provided they meet the eligibility requirements.
- Requesting: Drivers can request the Offer by writing an email to info@ridesandeats.com once they have fully purchased or made a downpayment on a new electric or hybrid vehicle. Drivers will enter a waiting list on a first come first serve basis once they make a request, however, only the first twenty (20) drivers requesting the Offer and fulfilling the above mentioned eligibility conditions will be granted with the Offer;
