UberGIVE: We’re Picking Up Donations On Demand!

The holidays mark a time to reflect, give thanks and give back. In the spirit of the season, we are thrilled to announce our first city giving campaign, in partnership with arcenciel, to make donating easier:

“You stay home, we do the pick-ups & together we bring a smile”

This Saturday 20th from 10am till 6pm, you can request a free, on-demand donation pickup of clothes and toys in Ashrafieh, Dbayeh, Hamra and Hazmieh (Nearby suburbs inclusive).

HOW IT WORKS:

Bag up unwanted clothes or toys you would like to donate
Open your Uber app on Saturday, December 20th between 10am-6pm
Request through the UberGIVE view at the bottom of your map
When a vehicle is available, the driver will head to your destination to pick up your donations

MORE DETAILS:

All clothing and toys must be bagged for drivers to accept your donations
Drivers will arrive at your requested pick-up location. Please keep in mind drivers can’t leave vehicles unattended, so we ask that you bring your bagged donations out to them

We’re expecting a lot of people to donate this Saturday so if you don’t find a vehicle from the first try, don’t give up!

Since arcenciel will be coming to you, use this opportunity to donate more than just a few things. Go through your closets and find what you and your family no longer wear or need, then add it to the bag(s).
