With this new service, you can plan your adventure your way. Pre-book your safari up to 90 days in advance, or as close as 5 days before your Uber Night Safari, and 2 days before your Uber Day Safari.

And this isn’t just a ride. Your seamless, door-to-door journey begins with a collection in a fully licensed, branded safari vehicle. You’ll enjoy a guided tour through Nairobi National Park up to 4 hours, led by licensed and experienced professionals who know how to make every moment unforgettable.

Follow these easy steps to reserve your Uber Day or Night Safari:

Phase 1: Initiate Your Reservation

Open the Uber app and tap the “Where to?” bar.

Set this to be your final drop-off location after the safari.

Scroll down and select the “Special” category to find Uber Safari (or Uber Night Safari).

Phase 2: Set Time and Confirm Details

Select your desired Safari Type and choose the time and date:

Uber Day Safari: Must be booked 2 days in advance (between 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM).

Uber Night Safari: Must be booked 5 days in advance (between 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM).

After setting the time, the app will return you to the confirmation screen. Tap the Uber Safari option again to proceed.

Confirm your pick-up location.

Phase 3: Finalize and Pay

A pop-up window will appear displaying important booking requirements and any necessary additional park fees. Review these details carefully.

Ensure your payment method is set to Card (cash payment is not accepted for reservations).

Click “Confirm Reservation” to finalize your unique safari journey!

Note for Tour Operators:

We are currently running a three-month pilot to analyze demand for Uber Safari. Once the pilot concludes, we will host a forum with all tour operators to discuss the results and the potential process for officially partnering with Uber on this new venture.

T&Cs: a. General:  (i) Riders requesting a trip must be 18 years and older; (ii) Uber Safari (Consisting of Uber Day Safari and Uber Night Safari) is only available to riders in Nairobi County; (iii) Each trip will accommodate a maximum of 7 riders for Uber Day Safari and a maximum of 5 riders for Uber Night Safari; (iv) Trips will only be offered from 17 September 2025 to 17th December 2025 during the booking window of Uber Day Safari ( 5:30am-2:30pm) and Uber Night Safari (4:00pm-5:00pm). Availability is limited, and bookings are processed on a “first come, first served” basis. Uber cannot guarantee a reservation;  (v) The fixed fee of KES 25,000 for Uber Day Safari and of KES 40,000 for Uber Night Safari shall not be inclusive of the entry fee to the Nairobi National Park and each rider will be expected to pay the relevant park fees through the required government portal before the trip;  (vi) If the driver cancels, riders will be refunded; (vii) Itinerary cannot be modified; and (viii) Once your reservation is confirmed,  KES 20,000 cancellation fee will be charged if cancelled with less than 48 hours for day safari and KES 30,000 cancellation fee will be charged if cancelled with less than 48 hours before for night safaris. Riders consuming alcohol are reminded that alcohol is not for persons under the age of 18 years.
