Uber has been moving Jordan since 2015, connecting riders and drivers with safe and reliable rides at the tap of an app. Today, we’re happy to announce that uberX has arrived to Zarqa!

At the tap a button, Uber will connect you with the closest available partner driver in Zarqa, ready to pick you up in minutes. You’ll see a photo of your driver, the license plate and type of car they are driving, and even follow their car on the app as they make their way to you. You can even use the ‘Share my ETA’ feature with family and friends so they know exactly your route.

Paying for your Uber rides is easy; select a card payment or select ‘cash’ and pay your driver in exact change. You can even split your fare with friends by selecting ‘split fare’ when paying with your credit card.

As we’re just hitting the streets, availability may be limited initially and you might experience longer than usual wait times. But we’re working hard to ensure a safe and reliable ride is only minutes away in Zarqa.
