1 Aga Khan Palace

Aga Khan Palace is a majestic building and is considered to be one of the greatest marvels of India. The palace is closely linked to the Indian freedom movement as it served as a prison for Mahatma Gandhi, his wife Kasturba Gandhi, his secretary Mahadev Desai and Sarojini Naidu.

2. Shaniwar Wada

Built in 1732, Shaniwar Wada is a historical fortification in the city of Pune. The important buildings in the palace includes the Thorlya Rayancha Diwankhana (The Court Reception Hall), Naachacha Diwankhana (Dance Hall), and Juna Arsa Mahal (Old Mirror Hall). Shaniwarwada has five gates and impressive lotus-shaped fountain.

3.  Dagadusheth Halwai Ganapati Temple

The temple is a beautiful construction and boasts a rich history of over 100 years. The Ganesh idol is 7.5 feet tall and 4 feet wide and is adorned with nearly 8 kilos of gold. Mr. Dagdusheth Halwai, the successful sweet seller under the name Kaka Halwai, built this temple in 1893.

1.  Osho Teerth Park

Osho Teerth is a beautiful 12-acre park that has been created out of a publicly-owned former wasteland. Enjoy quiet walks & jogs in calm, natural setting amid dense foliage, gardens & a stream.

 2. Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park

The 130-acre zoo is divided into three parts (including the Katraj Lake): an animal orphanage, a snake park and a zoo. The zoo has collections of reptiles, mammals and birds.

‘Kasba’ means ‘market-town’, and the neighbourhoods covered in this walk tell tales of the Maratha Empire’s glory. Contrastingly, the same neighbourhoods house a vibrantly bustling market full of people.
