India currently suffers from a shortage of 3 million units of blood and 3 out of 10 people needing blood don’t get it. In an effort to make a difference, we are offering our riders 2 rides to and from the closest blood donation centre at a flat fare of ₹ 49, on Wednesday, 14th June (10 am – 5 pm) and an opportunity to give someone a chance at life again.
All you need to do is enter a special promo code UBERDONATE created for this initiative, ride to the closest donation centre in your city and help us save lives one drop at a time.
How it works?
- Go to the main menu of the Uber app
- Click on ‘Payment’
- On the ‘Promotions’ section, click on ‘Add Promo/Gift Code’
- Type the code UBERDONATE
- Enter the name of the donation centre as the drop-off location in your city to unlock the flat fare on uberGO
- Slide to uberGO to request a ride
- Promotion is valid on Wednesday, 14th June from 10 am – 5 pm only
