Uber Delhi’s fare construct for rides requested from Terminal 1 Arrivals, IGI Airport is undergoing a change with effect from 22 March, 2017.
The Delhi Airport management has levied a mandatory surcharge of ₹150 for all commercial vehicles coming to pick up passengers from Indira Gandhi International Airport’s Terminal 1, similar to the surcharge levied on pickups from Terminal 3 Arrivals.
In light of the above, we’ve adjusted our fares to automatically account for this surcharge on a ride taken from Terminal 1 Arrivals. This means that this surcharge will be included in the fare displayed on your app upfront and that you do not need to pay cash to your driver separately.
This charge will be displayed on your receipt as below:
Even with this change, you can be assured that your Uber is the most affordable AC ride in town.
