Year in review with Uber Mumbai

2016 has been an incredible year. Thank you for letting us be your reliable ride – connecting you to people and places that matter the most.

In the last year, we went from moving thousands of people to lacs. As the number of riders continue to grow, it’s exciting to see how we’re serving each neighbourhood in Mumbai with a greater degree of reliability each month.

**The Average Response Time (Estimated Time of Arrival) has dropped to below 5 minutes for most areas of Mumbai.  

With the launch of uberPOOL, together we covered 5 million kms, saved 0.3 million litres of fuel and prevented 953 metric tonnes of CO2 emissions. uberPOOL lets Mumbaikars traveling in the same direction at the same time share the journey, at a fraction of the cost of uberGO. This means cheaper rides for passengers and less congestion in the city over time:
