Valuing Your Driver-Partner’s Time
Sometimes your driver arrives before you’re ready. When that happens, as an effort towards making sure that your driver-partner get their due, a nominal wait-time fee will now be charged 5 minutes after the driver arrives at your location.
How It Works:
- Once your driver-partner arrives at the pickup location, you will recieve a push notification communicating their arrival
- The driver-partner will wait for up to 5 minutes after arriving at the location. They can then choose to cancel or wait longer.
- If the ride doesn’t start within 5 minutes, wait-time charges will kick in
- Wait-time charges are not applicable on uberMOTO or uberPOOL
- Wait-time charges are applicable only for rides in Hyderabad

As a rider, it’s good practice to only request a ride when you’re near the pickup location and ready to meet the driver.
Improved Cancellation Fee
Your cancellation fee on uberGO and uberPOOL had been reduced to Rs. 45 from the previous charge of Rs. 52.5
