We love Namma Chennai, and we grab every chance to celebrate the city. So, this time we decided to celebrate Pongal the Chennai way. While we love celebrating; we enjoy it, even more, when we celebrate with our riders. So, we partnered with our friends at MadCap to make this celebration sweeter.
While our riders enjoyed their long weekend, the teams at Uber Chennai and MadCap came up with a delightful way for them to beat post-Pongal blues. We surprised our riders at the Chennai Airport and Phoenix Market City, with specially curated goodie bags.
Riders waiting at Uber pick-up points at these locations were given a Pongal surprise – a goodie bag full of super cool stuff from MadCap and a bag from Uber with a pot of sweet pongal, and sugarcane. We loved seeing the joy on their faces and enjoyed every bit of our Pongal celebrations.
