Starting 10th June 2017, uberPOOL will also be available in North Chennai and Poovirundhavalli. Now riders in these areas will have the option to share their rides with others heading the same way at the same time. With more people in fewer cars, travelling becomes more affordable and there is less time between trips for drivers.
To help riders in the neighbourhoods get around with ease and celebrate the expansion of uberPOOL, uberPOOL will be available for a flat fare of ₹29 (up to 4kms) until 2nd July 2017 for all trips starting from the new coverage area.
How it works:
- Set your destination on the “Where To?” bar, anywhere in the uberPOOL service area
- Select uberPOOL and request your ride
- Enjoy a flat fare on ₹29 for all trips up to 4kms
