If you don’t believe in superheroes then you are yet to meet our UberDADS.
This Father’s Day, we invited three #UberDADS and their kids over to have a little chat. We wanted to know what our little friends had to say about their dads’ mission to keep Bhubaneswar moving. Here’s what they had to share:

Q. How do you spend time with papa?
A. “We never go to sleep until he is back home. Once he is back, we sit down at the table, have dinner together, and only then go to bed.” – Soumya, 16
“I am now able to spend enough time at home with my wife and kids. We have our meals together We make it a point to have a family outing once a month and go shop during festivals.” – Subrat Kumar Panda, Driver Partner
Both Soumya and Satya are very proud of their father’s work ethic, and his desire to spend time with them at home. A true family man!

Q. What do you feel about Papa being an Uber partner-driver?
A. “I love the fact that papa is helping people get to where they need to be. I enjoy hearing stories about different riders from him” – Pooja, 17
“The biggest difference is that now I can be with my family whenever they need me. I am my own boss now, and I can choose when to take time off. I have the liberty to take them on short road trip at my own free will.” – Sumanta Nayak, Driver Partner
During our chat, Pooja and Chandan even shared a little secret that they were planning to take papa to Puri for the Father’s Day weekend. It’s our favourite vacation destination and he loves going there!

Q. What do you like most about papa?
A. “He supports us in everything we do and never says no to us. He is my idol. ” – Sumita, 17
A. “He drives a car! This means we get to go on drives very often.” – Sagar, 15
“I am now debt-free. A few years ago I was driving a taxi, and until last year I was driving an autorickshaw. Now I own my car, I earn more and am able to provide better for my family. Thank you Uber!” – Iswar Chandra Mohapatra, Driver Partner
Ishwar has now become his own boss and is driving with Uber for the past 7 months. Iswar, you make us proud!
