We know it has been hard for you over the last few days, as acts of intimidation and violence have prevented you from going about your business and earning an honest living. At Uber, the safety of drivers and riders is our top priority, and we’re doing everything we can to address the situation.

We urge the government authorities to step in to ensure safety and stop the cycle of violence and intimidation. After all, your ability to work is as important as the opportunity to protest.
