Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”)
READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE PARTICIPATING. YOU WILL BE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND AGREED TO BE BOUND BY THEM WHEN PARTICIPATING IN THIS PROMOTION. AMONG OTHER THINGS, THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS INCLUDE LIMITATIONS OF YOUR RIGHTS AND REMEDIES.
- The Promoter
- The promoter of this Promotion is provided by Uber Ireland Technologies Limited, a company incorporated in Ireland (company number 529509) whose registered office is at 47 Thomas Street, Third Floor, Limerick, V94 P8CK, Ireland (“Uber”); (the “Promoter”).
- Eligibility and Participation
- The following Terms shall exclusively apply to this Promotion for the duration of the Promotion Period.
- The Promotion is open to all residents in the Republic of Ireland aged 18 years or over, who have or sign up to have an active account with the Promoter, during the Promotion, and are compliant with the Uber Rides Terms (the “Uber Rides Terms”), except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the Promotion. Proof of age and/or identity and/or residency may be required (the “Eligible Participant”).
- To enter the Promotion you must be an Eligible Participant and you must complete the following during the Promotion Period:
- Complete and submit the relevant entry form by providing your full name and contact details as well as details of the desired show being played at the third party venue 3Arena (“3Arena”); and
- Complete at least one (1) Uber taxi ride in the Republic of Ireland during the Promotional Period; and
- agree to share your data with 3Arena the fulfilment business partner, who will fulfil the Prize.
- Promotion Details
- The prize available as part of this Promotion is as follows and shall be subject to third party terms and conditions:
- Two (2) tickets to any event or show being held at 3Arena between 1st January 2026 to 31st December 2026, subject to availability and the selected show must be part of the official 3Arena events schedule and must take place after the winner has been notified; and
- Access to the 3Arena private members club, the studio (“The Studio”) during the show chosen.
- The prize available as part of this Promotion is as follows and shall be subject to third party terms and conditions:
- The “Prize”
- Prize is as stated and nothing else is included. There is no cash or other alternative for the Prize in whole or in part and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
- Prize is personal to the winner and the sale or offering for sale, transfer, resale, donation, or exchange of any part of any of the Prize is strictly prohibited (including, without limitation, in person or online via an online auction website or online ticket resale marketplace). The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Prize and withdraw or make void any and all Prize elements if these Terms are not complied with.
- The Prize is subject to availability, has no cash alternative, is non-transferable and non-refundable. There are 60 Prizes available in total.
- If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to reasons of war, terrorism, state of emergency, pandemic, or any other kind of disaster, tampering or computer virus, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion or suspend, substitute or modify any element of the Prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
- If the winner elects not to use an element of the Prize, such unused portion of the Prize will be forfeited.
- Winners may be required to sign a Promotion acceptance and release form in order to be eligible to win the Prize.
- Third Party terms and conditions shall apply to this Promotion when redeeming elements of the Prize.
- Promotion Period and Notification
- The Promotion will open for entries on Monday, 1st January 2026 at 00:01 and will close on Thursday, 31st December 2026 at 23:59 (the “Promotion Period”). Entries received after the Promotion Period has closed will automatically be disqualified.
- The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries that are delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.
- A winner will be chosen by a random draw performed by a computer process every month during the Promotional Period.
- The winner will be notified by email which is registered with the Uber Rides platform account used to enter the Promotion, within two (2) working days of the conclusion of the Promotion Period of receipt of such notification. Failure to do this will result in the Prize being forfeited and the Promoter may in its absolute discretion award the Prize to a reserve winner selected at the same time as the original winner or dispose of the Prize in its discretion without liability to the winner.
5. General
- The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
- The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any typographical or other error in the administration of the Promotion, errors in processing entries, identifying the winner, announcing the winner or the delivery of the Promotion.
- Entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms upon participation in the Promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse participation in the Promotion to anyone in breach of these Terms.
- The Promoter reserves the right to modify and amend these Terms from time to time during the Promotion Period.
- The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision, or part thereof, of these Terms will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision or part thereof. In the event that any provision, or part thereof, of these Terms are determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions, or parts thereof, will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. Promoter’s failure to enforce any term of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that term or any other provision of these Terms.
- In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in the Promotion–related materials and these Terms, these Terms shall prevail, govern and control and the discrepancy will be resolved in Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion.
- Promoter and its agents do not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the Promotion or as a result of accepting the Prize or any element of the Prize. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its agents are not liable or responsible for any injury, loss or damage to persons or property arising from or caused by the weather, acts of God, war, accident, pandemic or epidemic and any related government action or any other government restrictions or regulations, or from an act or omission of any individual or condition beyond its control.
- Personal data supplied during the course of this Promotion to the Promoter will be processed by the Promoter and their third party business partner solely for the purposes of the Promotion, in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (https://www.uber.com/global/en/privacy-notice-riders-order-recipients/).
The Terms of this Promotion, and any disputes arising therefrom, shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Republic of Ireland Courts.
