Starting today, LINE’s users in Indonesia can now follow Uber Indonesia’s official LINE account: @UberID to receive the latest info and cool promos as well as request a ride, all without having to leave the platform or download the Uber app. The service is applicable to all Uber products available in Indonesia (Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Yogyakarta and Bali).
With Uber on LINE, you and your friends can keep the conversation going, whether it’s on LINE or in your Uber, and with the ability to seamlessly request for an Uber ride in LINE, taking your next ride is as simple as sending a message, a sticker or an animated GIF.

Getting started is easy, even if you have never used Uber! Simply open LINE, search for and add Uber Indonesia official account: @UberID – then click “Request an Uber” on the screen to start signing in/up to Uber and requesting a ride from your LINE app.
Once you take a ride, you will be able to share a gift to your friends and family so they will get a 40%, 50% or 60% discounted ride from Uber Indonesia Official Account in LINE. Share the gift on your timeline or to as many friends as you want!

How to add @UBERID on your friend list:
- Open LINE app
- Find Uber Indonesia’s Official Account: @UberID
- Click “Add” button to add Uber Indonesia on your Official Account list.
How to order Uber on LINE:
- Click Uber Indonesia on your Official Account list
- Click “Request an Uber” button” on the screen.
- Sign in with your email/mobile phone and password or Sign up for new users by entering your email, password, profile and payment method
- Choose the product available in the city, enter pick up location and destination
- Click “Request Uber”
- A pop up message with estimated or upfront fare will appear. Click Request Uber
- You will receive driver and vehicle ID
- Please wait for the driver to arrive and start your trip
- You will receive an e-receipt on your email after the trip
How to do Social Sharing:
- Once you take a ride, a thank you message and invitation to share a gift of Uber promos, click the screen.
- Click on “Share to LINE” and you will be directed to a page where you can select friends’ contact to share the gift with or you can also share it on your timeline.
- Click “Share” at the bottom to complete the sharing cycle
- Your friends will receive a link in LINE and click to claim the gift
- The promo will be automatically applied to your friends’ account to be used for their next trip
