Fare Adjustment and City-wide 30% Discount

Uber is always on the lookout to improve and to ensure quality experience for both riders and driver-partners. Considering the increase of the cost of driving, we will be adjusting the UberX pricing and introducing the wait time fee, starting this Wednesday (August 29, 2018).

From now till September 9, we’re giving you 30% off your rides, anywhere and anytime. For details, please refer to the bottom of the page.

Starting on Wednesday (August 29, 2018), we will be making the following UberX fare adjustments. Here’s what it will look like:

We’re also introducing the wait time fee. You will be charged HK$2 per minute after your driver arrives at the pick-up location for 3 minutes.If you decide to cancel the trip instead, you will only be charged the cancellation fee.

To avoid the wait time fee, meet your driver promptly and look out for the “Arriving soon” notification.

From now till September 9, you can enjoy our City-wide 30% Trip Discount (up to HK$50 per trip) on two trips each week for two weeks – that’s a total of four discounted trips! This discount can be enjoyed anywhere and anytime (excluding Airport and Tung Chung).
